My Autobiography

One Sunday morning, my father Harold Domingo and mother Visitacion Viernes met at church, not knowing that a simple moment would become the beginning of their story. My father noticed my mother during the church service, and from that moment, he started admiring her quietly. After some time, they began talking, knowing each other more, and slowly became close. What started as a simple meeting inside the church turned into love, and later on, they decided to get married and build a family together. Then on a special day, a baby was born - me.

My name is John Oslec V. Domingo, and I am 19 years old. Looking back at my life, I can say that I grew up as a curious and imaginative person. Since I was young, I was always amazed by the things around me, especially the things connected to technology. My journey from childhood to college was not always easy, but every memory and experience helped me become the person I am today.

During my early childhood, around one to three years old, I was still discovering the world in my own simple way. I was a very playful child who enjoyed watching shows on television. One of the things I loved the most was watching Power Rangers. I loved it so much that I would watch from morning until night, and this memory is something I will never forget. I often got spanked, then I would run to my grandma, and she would allow me again to watch Power Rangers. At that age, I did not really understand everything about the story, but I was amazed by their suits, helmets, transformations, weapons, and giant robots. Every time they transformed, I felt excited and would say, "tumatakbo, sumisigaw." For me, they looked like real heroes who could do amazing things using special power and advanced machines.

As I grew older, I realized that my love for Power Rangers was not just about entertainment. It also became one of the reasons why I became curious about technology. I wondered how their gadgets worked, how the robots moved, and how the transformation was made. Even at an early age, those moments opened my imagination. It made me interested in things that looked futuristic and creative. That simple childhood memory became one of the first steps that introduced me to the world of technology.

When I started going to school during my kindergarten era, my world became bigger. I learned how to read, write, count, and communicate with other people. At first, this era was really hard because I did not want to do those things, so my parents always bought me a DVD of Power Rangers just to encourage me. But it even got worse because I kept watching a lot. Still, in the middle of that stage, it became a challenging but helpful experience for me. It helped me become more confident. I met classmates, listened to teachers, and joined different activities. I also learned how to follow rules, finish assignments, and especially how to respect other people.

During my elementary era, I slowly became more responsible. I experienced both easy and difficult moments. There were times when I enjoyed the lessons, and there were also times when I struggled to understand some topics. However, my parents taught me that studying requires patience and effort. I also learned that making mistakes is normal as long as I try again and learn from them.

At the same time, my interest in technology became stronger. I enjoyed using cellphones, especially the keypad ones, watching television, and exploring every gadget that my parents had. At first, I only used technology for fun, but later on, I started to see how useful it was. Because of this, I became more interested in how technology works.

High school also helped me discover what I really wanted. My hard work paid off because I started joining contests, especially as a technician in radio broadcasting. I noticed that technology is everywhere and that it is becoming a big part of our lives. When I entered my teenage years, I became more aware of myself and my future. High school life gave me more responsibilities and challenges. The lessons became harder, projects became more serious, and I had to manage my time better. There were moments when I felt pressured, especially when there were many school works to finish. I always cried during this era because of stress, hehe. Still, those experiences helped me become stronger and shaped me to become a better student.

As I got closer to college, I started thinking about what course I should take. This era confused me a lot because I was also interested in becoming an architect, but I wanted something that matched my skills. Then I remembered how I had always been interested in technology since I was young, from watching Power Rangers and being amazed by them to using gadgets and computers as I grew older. I realized that my curiosity had always been connected to technology.

Now that I am in college at 19 years old, I can say that being an IT student is both exciting and challenging. College life is very different from earlier school years. I need to be more responsible, independent, and focused. There are times when stress hits me, especially in programming. Sometimes I feel confused or pressured, but I know that these challenges are part of learning.

In the future, I hope to become successful in the field of Information Technology. I know I still have many things to learn, but I am willing to improve myself. I want to become someone who can use technology not only for personal success, but also to help others. My story is still continuing, and I believe that with hard work, patience, and determination, hopefully I can say - I am finally achieving my goals.

Looking back, I am thankful for all the memories that shaped me. My childhood love for Power Rangers may seem simple, but it played a big role in sparking my interest in technology. It taught me to imagine, to wonder, and to be curious. From a young child who was amazed by heroes, I became a student who wants to understand and create technology in real life. This memory is simple, but it is important to me.
